After 4 years of working for different agencies, I'm happy to announce that I am officially freelancing full-time. It's been a crazy journey, but I'm grateful for it because I have learned so much. I will admit that a part of me is a little afraid as I'm stepping into the unknown and won't have the 'security' I have gotten used to over the years. Despite this, I am convinced that now is the time. I have worked for some really cool agencies in recent years, and in my last role, I was the team lead for a remote webflow agency based in Australia. It has been a dream of mine to eventually run my own business, and I feel that I now have what it takes to succeed. Before working for the agencies I've worked for, I tried freelancing, and it did not go well. I was fresh out of university, and I naively believed I could build a $10k freelancing business straight out of the gate. I think I must have been a little too influenced by a lot of Tai Lopez YouTube videos back then. After failing to run and grow a successful freelancing business, I decided to go back and get a job. This was the best decision I made. Working for agencies has taught me a lot about business and how to run it successfully. I have had the opportunity to see the inner workings of different agencies and see first-hand how things are done. I have learned things that I honestly believe would have taken me 10 years to learn on my own. I have truly grown as a professional, and now I want to help others who are starting out. Over the next few days, I will be sharing more about my journey and share tips based on my experience that will help you if you are starting out. Stay tuned.

Some will love it, some won’t. 👉🏼You hire experience over creativity 👉🏼You put in repeatable processes (that should make you faster, not slower) 👉🏼you prioritise and standardise service 👉🏼 you tighten up your product and focus on what makes you the most money or most fame 👉🏼your time is focused a lot on rolling out processes to ensure the team deliver what you sell 👉🏼 you’re building your A Team This is the hardest part IMO. It takes severe drive to push these things through, true grit to fight through the weeds, and working out what works and doesn’t.
