Communists are taught to avoid actually defending what they believe in by assigning us an assortment of pre-ordained reprehensible labels they can then use to derail conversations and rage against.
As you've all noticed, they'll even often employ them in combination under the illusion that doing so makes us even more horrible people.
And, no. It doesn't even matter that they're not true. We know they're not...but that's not the point.
The point is to get us to react exactly as we have, b/c those behind the scheme, pulling the stings, know full well that it's natural to want to defend one's honor. And therein lies the game. They seek to define the field of battle, and on their terms to boot.
We win by refusing to dance with them in the first place. Simply dismiss their asinine accusations out of hand as being preposterous and leave it at that.

This march only supports the argument that actual communists dedicated to bringing our country down from the inside have long targeted our education system as a means to an end. They themselves stand testament to how successful the operation has been.

To wave signs around in the street instead. The signs vary from: a) F**K ICE!!! b) Defeat Trump's Agenda c) Trump is a N*ZI d) ICE OUT!!! e) Protect trans kids f) Refuse fascism g) Stop bombing schools DO NOT TELL ME THIS WAS ABOUT KIDS. In fact, if/when this were to happen, what unfolds next could happen extremely fast.
I realize that most take what they're seeing on face value, that he's a dickwad standing in the way of saving our Republic...And by all appearances, he is.
But many of us believe there's a low-key strategy in play...and all timed to coincide with riding a wave of momentum caused by having passed it, and just in time to have its provisions implemented for the election.
Theoretically, were this strategy in play, Thune, currently paying the heel, could nuke the filibuster (to a simple majority), then pass the SAVE America Act that the House already voted for and get it to the President's desk the same day.
Not saying this is how it will play out, but things are set up nicely for this to occur (in some fashion) if indeed this was the agreed-upon path ahead of time.
Trump is wily like that.
And in the end, does it matter how it gets done, so long as it does?
