@pamelafox @intellectronica Gemini ClI won’t run the say command but it will run a script with “say Done” if you put it a directive in GEMINI.md. I assume other tools can do this too.
English

@intellectronica Ah nice, maybe I can tell it to run the "say" command on Mac so I hear it on my airpods.

@DynamicWebPaige I just can’t get over the idea of committing that much time to praying for your safety. A rosary? That’s like a lot.

I’m obsessed today with the important question: Did @ConanOBrien write “Mr No Depth Perception” I’ve had the theme music in my head for like the last week from discernible reason.

I’m hiring for an AI role reporting to me on a team of 5 others: goo.gle/4ap2jVa

@SFBayFerry We have random ukulele players on our ferry - we don’t need this.

@forrestbrazeal @RohanTronson In general, as they get older, it becomes important to respect the wishes of parents we might disagree with as long as they aren’t causing harm.
Ex: we might be more permissive than other parents. We don’t help you circumvent your parents and discourage our kids from doing so.
English

@forrestbrazeal @RohanTronson From what I read and understand of this thread, I think you went off track here not telling them *to not crush anyone’s dream.* I gave my kids words to that effect when they figured it out.
English

@longshotauthor I think it’s funny cause I would probably react the same to you or @brendanhunting
English

@danmall For example: I don’t check my kids location until they aren’t where they agreed to be and don’t respond to inquiries.
English

@danmall That leaves a lot of room open to interpretation and individual capabilities. But I tend to respect my children’s privacy as I would an adults until their safety comes into play.
English

I’ve heard lots of different opinions about this lately.
What do you think?
Great Job!@greatjobkids
Do kids have a right to privacy? 🤔
English

@olivi_eh Congrats. It’s a huge amount of work to make it up that hill!
English

@justkelly_ok Literally started it this week and it’s fantastic. DS9 vibes for sure, but no whimsy. (No holodeck baseball games) very grounded in “how would actual human beings react to these sorts of events” writing.
