@thebrianstonk Maybe they don't know your exact strategy but they have stats on your performance. Maybe they told him before to take partials or trail tighter because too often a profitable position hit break-even in the past. Other props have similar give-back rules, too.

Topstep is now closing positions and securing profits for traders. How would you feel if your broker closed you out without your authorization? We already have strict daily loss limits on LIVE. Now they want to control the profits too. That is not risk management. That is interfering with execution. If a firm controls your exits, you no longer control your edge.

@apterostrading I understand. Starting with $100k and a $5k DLL (5%), growing the account to $200k increases the DLL to $10k automatically, too. Since payouts are possible during growth, the decision mainly comes down to personal preference and risk tolerance. Right?

@MichaelPatak I am a developer myself and I understand that such things can happen. But in that frequency? Have you found the root cause? And what are the measures to prevent this from happening again? A little bit more transparency would be great.

Once back fully running (almost there), for those impacted by the outage, ANY negative realized trades in the affected time window will be removed & KEEP any realized profits. We WILL Reopen any accounts that were closed due to a violation that occurred during the outage window.

@Redden843 @Topstep It depends on your consistency value. I passed with a 53% consistency. So anything between 50%-53% (maybe 55%?) should be fine.
