4/n It would be nice if there was a way for these patients to be “traded” — assuming the patient wanted to do so — so that they could actually get care in the area that they now live in. A “trade network”.

3/n I’m sure this scenario is going on all across the province. I probably have plenty of patients that live 2+ hours away. And I’m sure there are doctors in those cities that may have patients that have moved to where I practice.

1/n Family medicine in Ontario needs a patient roster “trade network”. Hear me out. If I have a patient who is rostered to me, but then moves across the province, it can be difficult to help manage their care.
