RUNNING | TAPPS three-time All-State performer in cross country and 2015 3A state champion from The Woodlands Christian Academy @twcaxc HANNAH SHEARER, 26, on Sunday posted a career best of 3:04:22 at the Chevron @HoustonMarathon with her second consecutive Boston qualifier. Shearer, who was recognized in October by her alma mater @twcasports as a Warrior Legend, ran 3:20:22 last April at the Oklahoma City Marathon after missing the BQ at her hometown The Woodlands Marathon @TWMarathon the previous month in 3:38:39.

CROSS COUNTRY | Congratulations to The Woodlands Christian Academy @twcaxc alum Ben Shearer of the Arkansas Razorbacks, who competed at the NCAA Division I cross country national championships for the fourth year in a row on Saturday. He finishes his Arkansas XC career with the following times at the NCAA Championships: 2025 - 109th - 29:40.4 (Team 18th) 2024 - 55th - 29:34.6 (Team 3rd) 2023 - 42nd - 29:53.8 (Team 4th) 2022 - 155th - 30:37.9 Ben won back-to-back TAPPS state championships in 2019 and 2020 for the Warriors at TWCA.
