@tylerschultz @MikeSofaer I feel like insulin is an artificial problem. The government should just produce it and distribute it at cost if the market will not make a cheap product. I really don't understand why this is so fucked up.

The difference between Swift tickets and the things y’all are (god willing) going to jail for is that the $4k you at least get to see a very well-produced concert.

Pretty sure Taylor Swift concert tickets are a security under the Howey Test as applied by Gensler’s SEC. All sold out in presale and you can sell a $200 for $4000 on the stubhub exchange. Sold to support building the platform for the concert.

@pt @MikeSofaer What about insulin cos? They have plenty of money. The demand for insulin is parallel to the y axis. There must be some exceptions. Concert tickets, I agree.

@MikeSofaer I personally don’t really care because Taylor Swift has plenty of money, but I think people need to have realistic expectations. I think in most people’s minds Ticketmaster makes the prices higher for them.
