@currys then, they are a reseller - they weren’t. •Finally, the website is failing our security verification so we can’t verify - something of course that can’t be disproven. 4th times the charm and a long way just to say no… I’d rather have just been told it was too competitive.

@currys Interesting that curry’s responding and loved the post considering nothing is resolved. On trying to price match in order: •link didn’t work for the website so couldn’t verify - pictures provided. •Followed by the company isn’t VAT registered - companies house and VAT proven

Interesting experience this morning with @currys refusing to honour a price match promise: Multiple excuses including ones not part of the promise and untrue including not being able to find the website despite a link 😂 Guess they just didn’t want to honour their own T&C 🤷‍♂️

Still left high and dry by @PeugeotUK plenty of promises to resolve but repeated non contact and being passed from department to department. Known cam chain fault on the 1.5 blueHDI and now left with a useless car less than 5 years old.

@PeugeotUK I will do, my partner has been dealing with it as I’m currently deployed. Your customer services is awful. Now saying the warranty is void as we didn’t purchase the car from a Peugeot dealer - it’s only 4 years old and 60k and you can’t stand by the quality.

Has anyone else had issues with the cam chain failing on the 1.5 blue HDI engine from @PeugeotUK and then them refusing to honour repairs under warranty? Known cam chain fault but looking for any excuse and technicality. They couldn’t care less with awful customer service.

Forces and NHS family, deploying soon leaving my family cut off to just be hung up on. Initially told by customer the car was covered to now be told it was an error by their colleague and they shouldn’t have said that to us.

@PeugeotUK Awful customer service from Peugeot, can chain failure on a 5008 less than 5 years old. Known fault but refusing to honour the warranty. Beware! Wife works for the NHS, myself for the British Army and now left with an unusable car or a very expensive bill.
