Hi there, @gumroad! Any plans re: the forthcoming EU/DSA enforcement (02/2025) w/ respect to vendor's data? I know that some marketplaces are collecting/displaying e.g. producer's Address + Phone Number—which to some might pose a security risk. How are you going to handle it? TA!

@indiscripts I genuinely thought nobody would be interested, but if you suggest otherwise, I can write about the process that brought me to this setup. Although, I reckon it's hard to generalise, as both the end goal and the author's comfort zone (tech wise) influence the choice quite a bit.

Affinity Designer and LaTeX Workshop for VSC under the hood. InDesign? Nope. Feels that ID is no longer the software of choice for designing serious books. Sad but increasingly true🙄

@indiscripts First of all, thanks for deeming it a serious book :-) Early in (my rather short, ~8y long) tech writing career, I went through all the possibilities for e-book production, InDesign included. I've changed mind a couple of times, and eventually settled to the lesser evil (LaTeX).
