Nasim and Amir obviously lost it for Pindi, but we need to condemn, discourage, and criticize Muhammad Rizwan's innings today. On a road surface, he scored 41 runs off 32 balls. He basically went from 20 off 9 to 41 off 32. It's also interesting that he also didn't allow Abdullah Fazal to open either, who's an exciting potential star. We don't need to forget this.
In fact, we need to transform our attitude and consistently criticize if any batter is playing like that. When we appreciate this attitude of prioritizing your team first and helping your team most, our cricket will soar.

Pakistan Super League is just too easy for Sikandar Raza Butt. He owns this league. There's a reason why Lahore Qalandars hype and cherish Sikandar so much. He's a divine gift for them.
There was considerable noise that Lahore's success in initially securing the title goes to Rashid Khan solely. But Sikandar made sure that noise remained confined to only one season. He's Lahore's undisputed MVP.

The worst thing about guys like him is they will never be honest enough to own up the reasons behind this war because they were busy defending our state's failed Afghan policy back then.
You're a reason that we have to fight this war today.
Touts like you are equally responsible.

Never seen a more absurd contradiction in policy and language: posing as a peace mediator in Iran, while waging a war in Afghanistan. States can survive many things, but not their own contradictions.

India is the best T20 team in the world. That's why they are winning. That's it. Appreciate the talent, the resources, the brand of cricket they are playing. Don't satisfy your soul by saying baseless stuff every day that Abhishek is a slogger, Surya is washed, etc. We have to understand this quote from Moneyball and relate it as "There are good teams and then there are bad teams and there's fifty feet of crap and then there's us." India is that good team. We are that "us" after that fifty feet of crap. We can't copy them. We have to understand what we can do within our reach to be a competitive side.

Been 3 years since I lost my father. My father always taught me to respect others and help others. He was the light of my heart. May Allah grant him highest rank in Jannah!

4 Man of the Match awards in a single edition of the T20 World Cup. Shane Watson achieved this in the 2012 edition of the T20 World Cup. I believe the award for the Player of the tournament for this edition is sealed.

Pakistan spent decades backing and sheltering the Afghan Taliban — its defence minister acknowledged that to me on camera.
Now it says Taliban-ruled Afghanistan is providing sanctuary to militants attacking Pakistan.
The consequences are unfolding in real time.

Before this match, there was news that Farhan might be dropped for today's game. He is probably the only Pakistani batter whose flaws are scrutinized more than his performance. And it might be a beneficial thing, because we over-hype players excessively. However, we need to ensure that the ratio of failure is aligning with our criticism. Farhan needs to be appreciated for his outings.
Now if Farhan had been dismissed in the middle overs, there's no guarantee for what might have happened. But chances are Pakistan would have botched the whole innings. He is consistent. He needs substantial improvement still, but the confidence and the dedication are definitely there
