Where I stand after 9 games: Yes, it sucks they are 3-6. Nobody wants this season to end up like last season. But we have to realize, it’s JUST 3-6, and the rest of the division is being sluggish too! We have to expect better luck soon. Unless you’re a box score watcher, you understand that the O’s are kind of getting screwed on things like hard lineouts, great defensive plays, etc. Eventually, the hits will find grass or bleachers. You have to imagine guys turn it around, which I hate saying it like that since it’s only been a few games lol. We all know Bradish is a better pitcher than how he’s looked. We all know soon Bassitt will go out and eat innings. Tyler Wells hopefully will build off that last outing. And like I said, the bats will eventually get luck to be on their side. I believe this is a playoff team capable of making a run. I know I catch a lot of shit for believing this and I’m part of that whole “toxic positivity” group, but I stand by what I say. I grew up watching the 2010’s Orioles team, and it was frustrating watching them get bounced early (except 2014) and then miss the playoffs every year, and then go into that big rebuild. But as I was watching that, my Mom (who loves the O’s as much as I do) and I stayed positive and had hope for the Orioles no matter what. So that’s just the type of fan I am and will continue to be. If you think that makes me a “toxic” fan, so be it. But I still believe in this team. Let’s go O’s!

Pitchers have very much changed how they're attacking Gunnar Henderson to start the season. 37% of pitches he's seen thus far have been off-speed, that'd be the highest monthly total of any month in his career. Think it's caused his swing timing to be off a bit.
