Today, Keir Starmer has banned Kanye West from entering the UK because his “extremist views pose a threat to the country.” But… Last week, Keir Starmer invited a LITERAL ISIS TERRORIST to 10 Downing Street.

Dear @waitrose I need to do my weekly shop, I don’t normally go to your place for this, but I’ve recently heard I can get it all for free. See you later on.

Why should @waitrose customers pay a premium to cover your shoplifting costs when you fire a bloke who actually wanted to stop a shoplifter?!
Patrick Christys@PatrickChristys

So a bloke who worked for @waitrose for 17 years tackled a shoplifter in Clapham, the same area we’ve seen rampant lawlessness … and Waitrose FIRED him?! Disgraceful. They should thank him & give him a pay rise. What message is Waitrose sending to employees…and shoplifters?!

Walker T Smith, 54, had 17 years unblemished experience with @waitrose, & working in Clapham Junction. He stopped to shoplifter from stealing Easter eggs. Instead of being thanked he was sacked.

I served 13 years for queen and country, have always been pro monarchy - but with the @RoyalFamily clearly leaning more and more towards Islam it’s now time to Abolish The Monarchy.

Prince William called Islam a religion of peace. My mother would love to disagree but her remains were in that building coming down!

Tell that to the tens of thousands of young white girls raped by them, tell that to the kids murdered at the Manchester arena attack……. I could go on @RoyalFamily - but I am sick of it now.

@CatharineHoey @RoyalFamily If a King skips Easter but marks other religious occasions — that’s worth explaining publicly. Not about religion wars. About consistency. The role of the monarchy is partly symbolic. A simple statement from the Palace would put this to rest immediately.

Is it true that the King is not delivering a message for Easter. ? If this is true why is he not ? We need to have a reason. If he can give messages to Muslims on their special religious days surely he must send a message to Christians. @RoyalFamily

I think Prince William should give an Easter Message. The announcement by His Majesty King Charles today is an outrageous betrayal. I am struggling to articulate how utterly appalled I am by this. @KensingtonRoyal

That’s not true. Reports came out yesterday that energy bills up are 18%, equating to nearly £300. You’re lying out of your teeth and still refuse to wake up. Every finance minister is telling our country to drill and frack but our politicians look the other way. Even your own supporters want non-renewables!

John Swinney reverses the SNP position on North Sea drilling. This is a good move. I respect politicians who are willing to change their position when circumstances change and not stubbornly cling to ideology He said... “We need oil and gas for the foreseeable future. The two risks about imported oil and gas is that you could be importing more climate damaging oil and gas, and you might not be able to import it because of disruption and interruption to supply, because of what’s going on in the Middle East right now. So I think that context changes the balance of the arguments.” Now we just need @Ed_Miliband to do the same thetimes.com/uk/scotland/ar…

Another deeply troubling move from this increasingly authoritarian government. The Labour Party has removed the whip from Karl Turner — one of the most outspoken critics of plans to restrict our long-standing right to trial by jury. The Chief Whip didn’t even have the decency to tell him in-person. Instead, the decision was briefed to the press and followed up with an email citing his remarks and conduct. Apparently, speaking forcefully in defence of fundamental liberties is now a problem. Meanwhile, Lammy presses ahead with his sinister proposal restrict our right to trial by jury — despite having no manifesto mandate. He also continues to ignore the serious warnings from the country’s most senior legal figures. Whatever your politics, the right to a fair trial by jury is a cornerstone of our system. This Government is a disgrace. Credit to @KarlTurnerMP for taking a stand.
Karl Turner MP@KarlTurnerMP

I am being told that I have had the whip suspended but I have not had any notification from the whips about this. It seems journalists have been told but I have not.

It’s not “history”, Shabana. I’m from Telford. I was groomed and abused by different men from the age of 5. I’ve seen countless little girls victimised by Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs in my hometown. IT’S STILL GOING ON. I went on national TV to say that little girls are still being raped and tortured by Pakistani-Muslim gangs. The next day, the police came banging on my door to threaten me into silence for speaking out. Growing up, we knew which takeaways were dodgy, which taxi companies were controlled by the Pakistani-Muslim gangs, which estates and high streets not to walk through alone or avoid altogether. It’s an open secret. And your government is complicit. It is still happening in towns and cities across the UK. Little girls are being subjected to the worst abuse imaginable, at the hands of men who know they can get away with it. Nothing has changed. You are still turning a blind eye despite decades of undeniable evidence. Politicians like you are trying to sweep the scandal under the carpet, sabotaging the National Inquiry at every turn so that they can save their own skins. And little girls are still being sacrificed at the altar of multiculturalism and traded for votes. Decades later. The same old story. You may not have shoved little girls into taxis or plied them with vapes himself, but you and your entire government are just as guilty as if you had. And I, for one, refuse to be silenced or placated by the very people who have spent decades discrediting victims and survivors like me.
Shabana Mahmood MP@ShabanaMahmood

The grooming gangs’ scandal is one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. The independent national Inquiry will now begin its crucial work to uncover how these crimes were allowed to happen and root out failure wherever it occurred. There will be no hiding place for the predatory monsters who committed these vile crimes.
