For the last 15 months Dad’s dreamed of Rothesay, where his Dad was born & he spent his holidays. Today he felt good, the sun shone so my Bro & I chucked other plans to head to the Costa Del CLyde! Zavaroni’s cone, a paddle and @CalMacFerries of joy. Make time to the memories❤️😍

Dodging showers & battling persistent southerly, but discovering parts @visit_Bute didn’t know. Bumpy coastal pedal to narrowing Kyles at Kilmichael, bash north other side Rhubodach. Then delve deep to wild, Highland Bute in Glen More. Four hours in saddle. Epic! @TravWriters

Sometimes it’s the little things. Bus tour round @visit_Bute. Driver stopped so we could visit red phone box. Artist Ruth Slater had left something for my wee girls. Later popped @spiritofbute where welcoming owner - unsolicited - foisted me bottle of his Heidrun to try.
