Hello Nitin Gadkari ji, This is NH 1, the lifeline of five northern states. If you travel on this highway during weekends or holidays, it feels like driving within a city from Delhi to Gurugram. Every few kilometers, there are long traffic snarls and heavy congestion. Toll fees have increased three times since 2014, yet travel time has gone up by 2 to 3 hours. Even toll plazas have long queues. Why are we being charged like a controlled expressway when the experience is like an intra city road?
