@kkkog I was feeling a bit down on Billy after seeing so many Billy players lose to Preecha type mixup/gorilla characters and feeling like after the 5A nerf you need meter for both damage and defense in a way you didn't before.
Then El Maza wins Vegas and you and Xiaohai are in finals.
@GuileWinQuote@OmegaKyle_FGC Most prox UBs in the game are Mettagiri functions - imitating a command grab. EX Rob "cmd grab" is a true prox unblockable: Roll it, don't attempt to jump it, it'll ignore your wakeup throw invul.
@OmegaKyle_FGC I somehow just got turned onto that this weekend... I knew he was top tier but I did not realize the move was like... THAT... I love it...
Preecha was really the best investment I could have made.
I love Kevin (he's strong, especially short tournament sets) but that life is tough sometimes lmao.
I have to practice zero frame level 2 more I think to reach the next level with him.
@lladnar516@KnightTimeBlue A lot of the Billy players dropping out at the last stages of the tournament lose to eg. Marco, Preecha, Dong because they've spent the meter on damage and can't threaten a reversal. DP break being safe and meterless is wild.
@KnightTimeBlue I think this as well but instead of fireball, I’d say DP. JD Heavy DP break is so good from doing it and what I’ve seen. DarkAngel is insane for doing it all of the time blowing people up.
@ThinkingBone He does. Pretty much every modern Japanese list I've seen has Chun as 6-4 or 5.5-4.5. Some people would say Ken also beats Yun on paper by like 0.5.
The reason Yun's usually higher than Ken is because he bodies the rest of the cast a lot harder than Ken does.
This is every tournament-legal character I can think of that has 0 losing match-ups in a fighting game (worst is 5-5 or better).
Did I miss any? Any that arguably shouldn't be here?
I have feeling that I need actually re-evaluate my character picks in generally in fighting games since I have feeling that I had wrong direction for my playstyle.
@walldiver Can “match” be read as “masu”?
No, probably not.
If you casually read it abroad, or read it loosely, or if it's a pronunciation that somehow makes sense, would reading it as “masu” get the meaning across?
The Street Fighter X 2 single-player tournament is set for Sunday, November 22nd!
The venue is Fujimidai Waiwai in Tokyo.
The following day is also a national holiday in Japan.
So, could I get some advice from everyone?
I'm thinking of a name for this tournament.
I want it to be
like, people complain that the top tiers are too strong and the game is inbalanced, top tiers get nerfed in an attempt to bring everyone closer, people complain that the patch was only nerfs, like WHAT DO YOU WANT
in the format “itadaki○○”.
Please put a foreign word in the ○○.
<Example> itadaki Tournament
“Itadaki” means the pinnacle, the No. 1 spot.
We appreciate your cooperation.
