Along the way, we ran into graduate student Jamie tracking Shoal Bass on the Flint. A good time had by all.

Busy day for the Aquatic Biology Lab! We collected water and sediment samples at Radium Springs with Albany State researchers for a microbial biome study. Then, we did some surveying for the Skywater Restoration Project.

I also enjoyed seeing @Bankclimber present early data from our feral swine study with @FlintRiverSWCD and the University of Georgia. I’m excited for continued data collection and collaboration! #JASM22

Great talk from @BenCWebster on reservoir nutrient dynamics in the Chattahoochee and Flint basins on the last day of #JASM22. As @Waters_Paleolim says, “Sediment is fascinating!”
