@Shimon_Azar @EP_Lawrence The CN government did do a good job in getting huge numbers of the population vaccinated (I heard >80%). The frustration is them still enforcing unnecessarily strict rules & not listening to medical advisors saying to home quarantine asymptomatic cases

#Shanghai’s strict lockdown has been extended indefinitely, and it’s still impossible to order food and water. Got up at 5.30am again today but still, system gridlock. As I tried and tried to place my order, my basket depleted as essentials sold out. Madness. #shanghai #lockdown

A question being asked of #China’s government officials: what’s the medical advantage of forcing asymptomatic infected people to move to #Covid isolation centres rather than just letting people remain at home in isolation? They potentially risk infecting others making deliveries?

@outschool hi - I’m having payment issues; after paying for a few classes stripe then no longer accepts my credit card. I’ve done this with 2 cards from different banks and the same problem, so doubt it’s related to my banks. Tech support just keeps referring me to my bank

Just found out @leaningshane has #COVID19. Both packing while waiting for the CDC to arrive. He’ll go to hospital and I’ll be taken to quarantine. We’re OK, but not looking forward to the next three weeks. #Shanghai

A couple of friends going into quarantine. Obvious aside, some things to pack👇 1. Cup 2. Coffee, tea etc. 3. Earplugs 4. Hand towel 5. Medication 6. Sleeping mask 7. Snacks 8. Toilet roll 9. Warm clothing 10. Wet wipes
