I'm not a metallurgist, but from what I've read, the biggest risk for nickel leaching is acidic food (tomato sauce) for a long time (2 hours) in a brand new pot…if your whole kitchen is stainless steel, avoid what you can (try wooden chopsticks) without having to replace it all

I wonder what test captures genetic luckiness, or creative stupidity. I perform average on all IQ tests, like this one. I also talk slowly and can't think on my feet. But I solved 3 longstanding math conjectures, each over 10 years old. Another from 30 years ago. In 5 years. 🤷‍♂️

Instead of being like “the research suggests etc…” he makes black-and-white claims like “potatoes aren’t good for humans” That’s the kind of extreme take his whole brand is built on though.. lol and then in a few years he claims to change his mind 🤡🤡

@paulsaladinomd @_earthling74 Like you could have said "Potatoes have plant defense chemicals. Whether that matters in the complex human gut is not clear, but I'm exploring no potatoes. Maybe I'm sensitive to those chemicals, and maybe removing them will improve my health." Less clicks tho

Sushi (pickled) ginger fixes my headaches. Possibly by chelating unbound iron. Indeed, green tea extract has done the same thing for me.
