“I need Chevron.” Trump and Big Oil are squeezing working Californians at the pump. Our next governor shouldn’t be taking cues from corporate interests.

Californians' electricity costs are up 50% since 2019. It's no coincidence that PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E are making record profits. I'll take them on and cut your bill by 25%.

I’m so fucking Mexican, but I feel like he (and a lot of Becerra supporters) are expecting my vote based solely off that. He’s not lefty enough on the issues I care about — housing and health care.
Yousef Is Margin Calling Ohio@JoefromOhio2

Becerra’s entire shtick of “I’m Latino so all the Latinos should vote for me” is indicative of his lazy approach to campaigning and executive governance. This sort of stale and cynical identity politics is exactly the reason the Democratic Party is in the trouble it’s in.

Nurses have fought for decades to pass single-payer in California because it is the ONLY way to lower costs.  Yet Sacramento again folded to tens of millions of dollars of corporate healthcare lobbyists and special interests, instead of fighting for people.  I won’t.
California Nurses Association@CalNurses

We are outraged. The CA Assembly just killed #CalCare — the bill that would guarantee health care for every Californian. Nurses condemn this failure by our elected leaders. We know health is a human right! nationalnursesunited.org/press/nurses-c…

Pre Covid, I said DTLA was 5 years away from being the next Chicago. Covid set us back because work from home people saw no reason to pay to live DTLA anymore. Since, DTLA has gotten Javier’s, an Erewhon is coming, LA Live face lift, and much more. It’s coming.
Asscela Express 🚅@biz_socks

There is so much potential for DTLA to be an incredible walkable residential neighborhood especially with access to nearly all metro rail lines to take you throughout the entire region all without a car.

If I were F1 president, FIA rule changes I’d propose: 1: each car on a team must start with a different tire compound 2: pushing a car off track = 5 second time penalty 3: all time penalties must be served within 10 laps of penalty being served

T-Mac on the Lakers: "If you look at this roster constructed, what did you see on this bench that can give you consistency in a 7 game series against OKC or Denver?"
