RE: UNC & Duke. Did it factor in with Calipari when he flirted w/ NC State? Sure. But ultimately Cal was a coach who knew one of *the* jobs would open & waited. Wade got here, saw Duke's operation & sees UNC about to level up big time. He was not, in fact, here for the challenge.

@BullocksRedskin Lowe literally had zero college experience and didn’t even have a college degree. That was a Lee Fowler foul up. Gainey has worked under some great college coaches and done actual college recruiting.

All I’m gonna say is hiring Gainey is not even close to what the Lowe situation was especially given the era of college basketball we are in. Comparing the two is just having PTSD
