Let’s run down the list…
- jackass catcher doesn’t dap up his teammates because he wanna act tough. also benched in last two games cuz he stunk it up
- manager doesn’t know the seeding rules and almost cost em a playoff spot
- one of best players says tourney stinks it doesn’t matter
- best player goes hitless entire tourney and has one of the worst speeches of all time
- entire team cosplays like they are war veterans every game. You are not
- 10x talent over every other team but lack of passion/aura/cool factor makes them look like NBA regular season players
Just a sad bunch of dudes to watch. Hope WE can do better the next go around. Winning should be a certainty. Just want guys to represent our country better

I rooted for Team USA in the WBC, but they played a joyless tournament, and the military cosplay (salutes, Rob O'Neill locker room visit, etc) was ridiculous. Also, Aaron Judge may be the least clutch player to have played the game. Congratulations to Venezuela, they earned it.

The US needs to take a hard look at how they do these tournaments. Never been a more talented US team yet never been a more painfully uninteresting team. Need to start bringing guys who want to be there, not guys who think it’s an all-star event and will coast to a title

In the end, the biggest reason the US lost was simply because other teams treated this tournament much more seriously. They beat DR by the skin of their teeth, and by having their best pitcher to start. But while DeRosa left Miller unused (with an off day in between no less), Venezuela used every single quality arm on back to back days to win it. A shit show tournament for DeRosa and for the US team. I'm glad they lost. Maybe next time they'll take it more seriously. Can't half ass it and win a tournament with as much quality as this one.

Everyone in that clubhouse should be ashamed of themselves. They didn't care and they didn't belong. Let's be honest here, DO BETTER. The whole WBC the USA was looked at like stale chips, boring. Do fucking better and show some damn pride in your country the way the others do.
