no matter how many AI startup founders I talk with, none of them pay enough attention to one thing that moves the needle from 1000 to 1M paying subscribers. and that’s one thing Claude (or whatever you use for vibecoding) can’t design for you by default. the exact mistake AI unicorns like Lovable had had before, that made mass market think they are “too technical” for users with 0 knowledge. and before I tell what it is - I’ll bring another unexpected example and let you guess yourself: chipotle ai. if you remember last year there was a rotating joke that you can use chipotle ai intelligence that’s connected to chatGPT for free instead of paying monthly subscription. users were sharing how they asked it to solve math equations, give advice or do research. funny enough- chipotle ai was never designed for this. so what common chipotle bot and earlier version of lovable had? answer is - users didn’t know what exactly to do with it, and how to use it in first 3 minutes. so chipotle user just abused the system, and lovable prospects would switch to chatgpt at that time. lovable heavily focused on what people could do in first 5 minutes before product really took off in 2025 - free credits (enough to build something exciting!), mockups, templates, and much more. most vibecoded websites are not ready to take on cold prospects, they expect audience already know the pain, the solution, and just needing the bridge to automate. when the reality is completely different. and it’s what makes difference for those who think they can scale to million users, and t ones who actually do
