From what I can tell, HBO Max's UK library is roughly 1,200 unique titles (bunch of quirks and asterisks) For comparison, Netflix UK has about 9,000 titles! US HBO Max (according to JustWatch) has about 3600 titles.

4K HBO Max (equivalent to Netflix premium) is £14.99 At the moment on NowTV I get discounted: TV package £3.99 Movie package: £3.99 4K Upgrade £6 = £13.98 a month and you get a LOT more content than HBO Max alone.

At long last, HBO Max is here in the United Kingdom. Both as a standalone and fully integrated into NowTV (how long for I don't know) as part of existing tiers. Given the insane discounting that NowTV offers, you can get all their stuff (I haven't checked it's 100%) and all of the Sky/Peacock stuff heavily discounted from what you'd pay for HBO Max alone... To that extent, I don't know why you'd subscribe to HBO Max right now.
