@litteraechristi lingua latina valde mihi placet! the one thing about latin I love more than any other language is the ablative case. it's just so versatile in latin and can show so many meanings. I especially love ablative absolutes!

Note the length of the vowel "a" in words "mālum" and "malum", one means "apple" (mālum) and the other means "bad" (malum). "Mālum malum", a bad apple. :) A long vowel is prolonged in pronunciation, making it about twice as long as a short one.
