"AIMCo invests for a work force that includes Alberta police officers, nurses and university professors. The only debate in the province should be what’s in the best interest of those clients."

This photo will be Pam Bondi's legacy. No accountability. No justice. No concern for victims. Utter disgrace.

This government is pulling the welcome mat out of our public schools. Instead of hiring teachers or reducing class sizes, they’re removing words like “welcome” and “diversity” from education laws. That tells you everything you need to know. Our kids deserve better.

Remember when a journalist asked then education minister Adriana LaGrange for examples of “ideology” in what the UCP called the “NDP curriculum” and she didn’t have any?!? Well they made their own curriculum now and the ideology is in the teachers?! ASK FOR EXAMPLES! #ableg

And bear in mind Dan Williams is beholden to some of the most socially conservative people in the province, namely the La Crete Mennonites who donate to him. We're talking a place that once fired a teacher for showing students a Disney movie because magic.

This is part of Bill 28. A wide-ranging bill that also puts the minister in charge of disciplining municipal politicians. “The Minister would retain discretion to accept, reject, or adjust recommendations of the appeal commissioner,” it says. edmonton.citynews.ca/2026/04/02/alb…

Alberta is indeed expanding its “book ban” to all public libraries and putting the Muni Affairs Minister in charge of that. They will be making 16+ areas for racy images. The premier previously told me this would only be for libraries co-located in schools. #ableg #cdnpoli

So, it's obvious this government wants to eliminate Social Studies, and just replace it with Geography and History. No need to think about our current state of affairs. #ableg #abpoli

Join me this afternoon as I introduce legislation that will ensure schools remain focused on fundamental skills and that ideology and politics are removed from the classroom. twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Donald fired Pam Bondi for one reason and one reason only: she didn't do enough to cover up for him. And she really tried.

Giving Amery's track record on making true statements, seems like Nenshi has found a smoking gun. Amery is basically confirming Nenshi's comments, if you know how Amery and the UCP communicate. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

In the past 24 hours we’ve learned Trump is talking about firing like 3 different people in the DoJ and now the DNI. So either: * They are refusing to do something very illegal - which for them is a far out line. Or * There is a major intelligence scandal happening and Trump is going to throw people under the bus

Taking Alberta Forward, We Stand With #Canada!
The hypocrisy is stunning. "This is going to surprise some people." “The Premier’s office doesn’t belong to any ideology, political faction, or special interest group. It belongs to the public.” Yesterday, the Alberta government tabled Bill 25 — legislation meant to remove politics and ideology from our classrooms. On paper, it promotes neutrality. Yet Premier Danielle Smith is hosting The Premier’s Annual Christian Summit on May 4 in Red Deer — a direct dialogue between Christian leadership and Alberta’s government to “help shape the policies affecting our families, churches, and communities.” This feels like the pot calling the kettle black. If the government is actively partnering with one faith community to influence policy, how can we trust that Bill 25 will genuinely keep all ideologies out of public schools? Imagine if this were a summit with Muslim, Jewish, atheist, or progressive activist groups openly discussing how to shape education policy. The reaction would likely be very different. As Premier Danielle Smith herself has stated: “We need to phase out every government-run, union-controlled public school more interested in indoctrinating students than teaching them critical-thinking skills.” The real test for Bill 25 isn’t the wording — it’s whether it will be applied evenly, or whether certain worldviews will still get special access and influence behind closed doors. When the Premier’s office hosts exclusive summits with one religious group while pushing a bill to ban ideology from schools, it stops being about protecting neutral education. It starts looking like selective influence. With the Christian Summit just around the corner, Bill 25 is bound to fail in delivering true neutrality. The hypocrisy is simply too glaring. Public education must belong to all Albertans — not serve as a platform for any particular faith or ideology. Albertans deserve straight answers. What do you think? Can a government hosting faith-based policy summits credibly enforce ideological neutrality in our schools? #abpolitics

For all the talk by Trump of what the US spends on NATO some actual facts are helpful. Of $968bn US spend on military, only $33bn is spent in Europe, mostly on US bases which are not NATO bases. The actual US funding of NATO is approx $600m a year, about the same as Germany.

Trust me, I am no fan of Noem, Gabbard or Bondi, but I do find it notable that of the cabinet members Trump has fired or is reportedly considering firing, all three are women. How about Hegseth? Kennedy Jr. can't even find a CDC Director to match with his craziness. Patel is a laughing stock, and so on. Why aren't they being fired?
