A lot of us are moving toward dead-simple, fully private on-device notes that don’t try to be everything. No cloud, no feature creep — just yours. What’s the one thing you wish your notes app did better right now?

@Slayed_eth Yeah the lock-in is the worst part. You don't realize how much of your brain lives in their servers until you try to leave. I've been moving to local-first markdown for exactly this reason — your notes shouldn't be held hostage by a pricing page.

I've been slowly switching from Notion to Obsidian. AI builders clearly love it, will be many more use cases
