Most new things are just old ai agent things made into stand alone versions AIXBT → trading info app ai16z → trading bot ai16z → trading fund Many brands → AI pfp change Dolos → roast bots VaderAI → portfolio management Agent wallets-> shit we may of been the first to do it at holo but never released it cuz it's crap (maybe better with "rails" now) The person to make each category work is generally gonna be someone with domain experience eg (a successful algo trader pre ai) And he/she is not gonna sell you it when it does work lmao, stop falling for that. They'd go make billions themselves. Ai is better now so I guess I get the new attempts but also bored by them Especially everyone trying to make a trading bot. "Just gave my agent $10k let's see what happens!" , bro we know what's gonna happen I think people are more excited about the act of creating and getting rich, with time people will realize even with the right idea it's very hard, and having a powerful "why" this should exist is infinitely better than toys that may go viral but will be dead within 2 weeks Realtime we're seeing peoples level of "taste" and how low it is Now I'm go meditate on a ui design I've been working on for the past 8 hours by taking in 100s of designs from websites, apps, then drawing my own, then feeding to stitch(it sucks) getting nowhere then back to inspiration and finally having a thread of an idea that may go nowhere but even if it does ill do it again because I understand that's my process and keeps me far away from this slopfest of valueless apps we could all one shot but feel special because we typed a few words into a prompt and convince ourselves we did something, the same reason you hated ai art and then pray this will be my only negative post for a while Kbye

“Even if we assume that designers are cooked and this technology is incredible, there is still an edge if everybody can do the thing...the good people become more important.” Jess and Josh discuss the lazy “designers are cooked” take.

Work that moves people will always be valuable, and our search for novelty will continue to reward those who can deliver. While it will be easier to design something, it will be increasingly difficult to achieve the true goal of great design. impact that stands out
