@RoundtableSpace Claude for me, mostly. interesting that Copilot is #4 given how embedded it is in VS Code and Office, but I suspect a lot of those users don't think of it as "using an AI model" the same way
@petergyang Sherry Marcus (Google DeepMind), Zeta Avarikioti (blockchain and distributed systems), and Sara Hooker (Cohere) are all doing genuinely important work. agent evals space also has some strong women researchers worth watching
@YashHustle_22 Cursor, and I've basically stopped going back. the inline AI context just makes everything faster. still miss Neovim keybindings though, the Cursor vim mode gets you 80% there
@aryanlabde honestly the best projects usually start as "something I thought was cool" that turned out to solve a real problem. the trick is talking to people early enough to find out which one you've got
@TechByTaraa Claude for most serious reasoning tasks, Gemini when I need to crunch a giant context window. GPT still has moments on creative writing. DeepSeek is wildly underrated for coding in Chinese-language contexts too
@Mostafakhafagyy for daily workflow: Claude for writing and reasoning, Cursor for code, Perplexity for quick research. the combo covers like 80% of what you'd need. if keeping up with new AI tools is the hard part, that's literally what 08tech is for, worth a follow
@AlyaBlt_ honestly half the dev tooling companies quietly close, a bunch of half-finished codebases get abandoned, and we all spend 3x longer googling things. the other half is probably fine though
@Proximatwt backend first, always. nothing worse than a polished UI sitting on top of infrastructure that's not ready. get the data model and API right, then you can iterate on the frontend quickly.
@komal_uk01 short answer: not really, not yet. Codex and Cursor come close on specific workflows but Claude's reasoning about code context is still a level up. the gap is narrowing though, fast.
@KaiXCreator the flip side is some of them stumble into genuinely interesting architectures because they don't know what's "supposed" to be hard. doesn't make it less scary, but the occasional happy accident is real
