The face of true evil. This scumbag knows the investigation began under her administration, not Trump’s. Let’s see if we can’t get this community noted?

@Elex_Michaelson @Schwarzenegger @ArnoldSCI Funny. You didn’t post the clip where you accuse the “Trump” DOJ of investigating Newsom’s wife. You knew the whole time the Biden/Harris regime started it. Post it. Can’t handle the backlash?

The irony of baseball players crying about wearing a fucking rainbow hat one night a year is we have to watch those dumb motherfuckers wear "jesus won" shirts or preach about jesus every single time they appear on camera. Christians shove their shit down throats all the time.

Dana White released the actual invite list for Trump's birthday UFC night. Adam Sandler, Tom Brady, The Rock, Jason Statham, Jared Leto, Mario Lopez, Guy Ritchie. Every one of them said no. What was left standing in that arena was Mark Zuckerberg, a handful of Trump relatives, and Nate Bargatze doing his best with a room that didn't want to be there. Three days later the Obama Foundation released its own list. Stevie Wonder. Bruce Springsteen. Bono. The Edge. Jennifer Hudson. John Legend. Eddie Vedder. Nobody had to twist an arm to get any of them on a plane to Chicago. The presidency ends eventually. The ability to fill a room because people actually want to be there either survives that or it never existed in the first place.

A simple observation worth keeping in mind. 🇨🇳🔍 The overwhelming majority of people running anti-China accounts have never been to China. They've built their entire picture of the country from second-hand sources, often from people in the same position. Yet when those of us who actually live here, who have Chinese colleagues, neighbours and friends across the country, describe what we see, they call us liars and tell us what China is "really like." That's not scepticism. That's either brainwashing so complete the subject doesn't even notice it, or it's a paid job to keep regurgitating the same rubbish. Either way, they've been handed a narrative and they protect it from any evidence that contradicts it, including the lived experience of people on the ground. Worth remembering next time one of them shares a recycled claiming it as fact.

@siaxares Here’s the harsh truth. YOU the Iranian people seeking your own freedom need to be willing to shed YOUR blood for freedom. Not OURS. We bled for our freedom. We didn’t protest and cower before the red coated Brits. We killed them. We fought, we died, we won.

As an Iranian, I’m telling Americans directly: Iranians in Iran are still very much pro-America — and particularly pro the Republican Party, conservative ideals, and admire the Constitution of the United States. But JD Vance has betrayed all of this. The recent posts from Iranians expressing anger over this Iran deal are not anti-American. The criticism is aimed at specific actions and specific figures, not at the United States itself. Trump didn’t have to engage at all. But he chose to, made promises, and now this path is clearly benefiting the Islamic Republic and the IRGC far more than the Iranian people who have been bleeding for decades. This outcome is worse than if he had done nothing. The 40,000+ Iranians who gave their lives did not die so the IRGC could sit at the negotiating table and walk away with concessions from the United States. And the nuclear program? Still unsolved. Still a loaded gun that can be used against the world later. Iranians respected the firm, principled approaches of Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent. But figures like JD Vance have moved Trump into a very weak and deeply unpopular position. There is still hope that President Trump can come back to strength. But JD Vance and everyone pushing this direction have betrayed the American people, betrayed the ideals we both believe in, and betrayed the historic chance to finally rid the world of the Islamic Republic. We see who is standing with the Iranian people — and who is not. Really JD Vance? "Give them a chance". Islamic Republic has had 47 years of chance and numerous deals with the west, none have beem adhered to and the Islamic terror has been amplified and globalized. King Reza Pahlavi's leadership through a transion out of Islamic Republic is still the only viable path. #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran

As everyone gets excited for US Men's Soccer, keep in mind that they have never won a World Cup and still get celebrated as the default US soccer team while the women's team has won 4 cups and barely gets recognition on a national stage. Mediocre men will always outshine outstanding women, as long as the patriarchy controls everything.

People who say we need to confiscate Elon Musk's assets are missing the point. Of course we should, but he still has power over how people think because he owns X. He gets hundreds of millions of views on his posts which he uses to manipulate people into fascist right-wing beliefs. We need to redistribute the millions of views he gets to progressive influencers like Hasan Piker, just as we will redistribute his money to progressive causes. This is the only way we win in the long run. Have a wonderful day, Wolfgang

"At least I'm not them" is the most important sentence in American political life, and almost nobody says it out loud. At least I'm not on welfare. At least I'm not undocumented. At least I have insurance, even if it's bad. At least my kids go to a real school, even if it's underfunded. At least I'm a citizen. At least I'm not in that neighborhood. Every one of these sentences requires a "them." A category of person positioned just below you, whose existence makes your own precarious situation feel like success by comparison. The empire does not need to lift you up. It only needs to keep someone visibly below you. And it has spent two hundred and fifty years making absolutely sure there is always, always, a "them": by race, by status, by citizenship, by neighborhood. So that the people being squeezed from above spend their energy looking down instead of up.

@awfulannouncing James Franklin’s problem is he comes off as inauthentic. Everything he says and does feels performative, like he’s playing a character instead of being a real person. Couple that with his repeated failure to beat Ohio State and Michigan and it all grows tired after a while.

I lived in China and realised the West is making a big mistake. While the US, UK and Australia focus on short-term political cycles, China is focused on long-term building. You don’t have to agree with the system — but there are 3 things worth implementing immediately: 🧵 1. Test. Build — Policy experimentation Method: China often uses a “pilot first” approach, where major policies are trialled in selected cities before national rollout, allowing real-world results to shape final implementation. Contrast: In contrast, Western systems are more likely to implement large-scale national reforms upfront, with limited real-world testing before full rollout, relying heavily on political consensus and institutional design. Impact: When policies underperform at scale, the effects are felt across entire populations before corrections can be made — leading to higher correction costs, slower policy reversal, and disruption to everyday services. 2. Building at scale — Execution speed China leverages state-led coordination of infrastructure delivery, combining planning, financing, and execution through centrally aligned agencies and state-backed contractors to reduce delays and streamline construction at scale. In contrast, Western systems rely on fragmented, multi-stakeholder systems where planning approval, procurement, and delivery are distributed across multiple political, legal, and commercial actors, often slowing execution. This creates a higher cost and slower delivery environment for critical infrastructure — transport, housing, and energy systems — due to coordination friction and regulatory complexity. 3. The 50-year vision - Planning China operates a nested planning system where Five-Year Plans are aligned with longer-term strategic goals, ensuring continuity across leadership transitions. In contrast, Western systems are more likely to implement large-scale national reforms upfront, with limited real-world testing before full rollout, relying heavily on political consensus and institutional design. This creates stop-start policy cycles where projects are frequently reshaped or abandoned for political survival or short-term wins. For people, this means: wasted public investment delayed infrastructure reduced confidence in long-term delivery. --- This isn’t about agreeing with China’s system or copying it wholesale. It’s about being honest about what different systems are doing better — even when it’s uncomfortable to admit. I used to see things differently. Living there changed my mind.

Western economists, wagging their fingers at China (the most successful economic system in the world), are demonstrating their ignorance of how China works. The real problem is few (almost no one) in the West are willing to find out how China does it.
