@VirtualAxiom @blacknredtext @Epicartworks Look, I get it. I was there when the Zelda for Wii U tech demo dropped, but you gotta let it go. The series was stagnating (at least the 3D games) by the time Skyward Sword came out. They had to try something different. It is not the same style of adventure game and that's okay.

The game is so anathema to Zelda and has so little respect for the player's time that people who glaze it can't be true fans of Zelda, categorically, otherwise they wouldn't be acting like it's some masterpiece and a valid entry.

As a massive - and I do mean MASSIVE - Zelda fan, Breath of the Wild is the hardest drop I've experienced from excitement to despair in my then-20 years of playing video games. When I tell you I was *READY* for that game, expecting the easiest 10/10 of my life, only to get tedious busywork, lazy copy-pasted mini-"dungeons" that only four of which even have a boss, and it's all the same boss with a different element, to say nothing of its myriad of other problems...I've never despised a game more in my life, and it's insulting to see fake Zelda "fans" glaze it like they do.

Mind you, Sherry was 12 in RE2. Leon was in his 20s.

Why do all retro gamers have the exact same shelf? They also have the exact same games on it. It's like they live in the same room.

@adelheidx333 People are saying Moe but this style comes from the transition from traditional anime drawing on cels to digital art. I know this is a visual novel which wasn't drawn on cels but it still has the same aesthetic philosophy as early digital anime.
