@BadDataPractice There’s nothing to cope about. You are ridiculous at this point. “Mid” and our GM has been a finalist 4 times for the top award. 🙄 Part of Team USA front office, too. He even had a backup plan with a top pick. I know my team and GM more than you. You worry about your own.

@ecfstereo Cope if you want, but you probably need to be getting yourself in the headspace where you’re able to accept the fact that your front office is mid & in a post legal cap circumvention world they don’t know how to build depth to overcome injuries enough to avoid historic drop-offs.

@ecfstereo My sympathies that the Panthers front office wasn’t forward thinking enough to scout and build up young, cheap depth at the AHL level that’s talented enough to fill in at the NHL level when needed without causing such a massive drop off.

@BadDataPractice You mean the season the Panthers won the President’s Trophy. Went to the SC final the following 3 years. Worst season TBL had for injuries was 24-25 and it was 75 man games lost. Current 188. Panthers current season is over 400. Mostly key players. Barely have DMen.

@ecfstereo Excuses. The Bolts made the playoffs fairly easily (3rd in the Atlantic by 6 points) the season after their 3rd straight Cup appearance (and every season since), and dealt with injuries to top players as well significant roster turnover of key role players.

@BadDataPractice No travel, less games/travel and even a 3 month break before resuming the season is also a factor. Can’t ignore those and not the others. Considering the Panthers aren’t in the playoffs this season because of injuries and/or wear tear after full seasons and finals.

@ecfstereo Exactly. Winning the Cup is equally difficult every season, 2021, 2024, and 2025 included. 2020 might be the one exception as every player, coach, and league official involved has said that the isolating conditions of the bubble actually did make it more difficult.

There will be no red state secession or national divorce. One side is going to win and destroy the other as a political force. That’s how this is going to end, with one worldview being explicitly sanctioned by the state, and the other being criminalized. You can determine through your actions which worldview will meet which fate, but you cannot determine whether or not this is going to happen. It will. There is no pluralistic future that lies before us. No libertarian dream of permanent state neutrality where gay race communism gets to live side-by-side with traditionalism. One of these worldviews WILL triumph over the other.

@BadDataPractice @ReviewLightning This is about ten years out of date. The Oilers moved to Rogers Place for the 2015-16 season. And of course, Arizona no longer exiets. I believe what the Oilers do now is donate them to local homeless shelters via their Oilers Foundation

Kavanaugh prolly helped R motivation in 2018. 2 reasons why a vacancy MAY not in 2026: 1. Kav fight turned very ugly and in ways that were particularly "activating" for R voters. 2. Roe v. Wade is now history, which may inherently change/lower stakes of SCOTUS fights on right
