@BasedBeans0 @cmarc057 @JakeSucky I think you have a much better time playing dota cuz ur based in the us. I played cs for 12 years and the russians (mostly) can communicate in english but in dota i have yet to hear them utter english word since i started playing in October

@gittenACHO @cmarc057 @JakeSucky I started with league. Once I hit platinum rank in October of 2022 (before they changed it) I decided to make the switch and go to DOTA. It was rough but I am glad I did it and I have never looked back since.

I play it weekly but its probably never gonna be my main game cuz: games are very long and exhausting, after max 3 games i need to take a big break. The learning curve is very steep and i always vs ppl with many more hours. And ofc all the russians

@ktnzk_ @cmarc057 @JakeSucky It's not pretend its genuinely better, and I am saying that as someone who came from league after years of playing. The extra layer of complexity adds depth to the game that even the lowest of rated players can take advantage of.

@cmarc057 @JakeSucky I agree with that yea the intro missions don't really do the best job of getting new people into the game smoothly. However, I will say as someone who came from league that its complexity is well worth it once you commit to the game. DOTA is worth the mud in the beginning.

Whereas in 3 you spend the whole game playing detective and you have to endure those terrible Ciri memory segments. They were both boring and a waste of such a good protagonist.
