@MehdiHacks I found traveling out into the field was the best HF experience due to the noise floor in the city. If you’re in a super quiet RF area, then home rigs would be fun with a big tower.

Seriously considering getting a high performance tabletop receiver. My first choice is Icom R8600 which is based on SDR architecture. It covers up to 3GHz, and uses direct sampling for HF.

@TopCurlsoid @saleae Nice thing about Saleae that isn’t obvious at first is the ability to capture analog signals as well like an oscilloscope channel, albeit a bit limited on voltage input.
