A reminder on this beautiful day: River Parks is CLOSED. The River Parks system has transitioned from a recreational area into a buffer that keeps you safe from the rising Arkansas River. The water won’t crest until late today. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…

Tulsans are advised to avoid Riverside Drive and River Parks, where the river has flowed outside of its banks and created dangerous pools and ponding of water on the park grounds.

Philbrook Museum of Art will close early today (Thursday, 5/23). We will reopen with normal hours tomorrow.

Flood sirens have started sounding along the Arkansas River corridor. They will run every half hour for 6 hours. This is just a warning for folks who aren’t aware of the ongoing flooding Arkansas River flood situation (which, if you’re reading this tweet, does not include you!).
