@FREEDOYOUTUBE The idea of making her ult charge faster (reduction of headshot damage for example) could totally change how you play her ult. If there is a perk that removes headshot Crit and improves armour penetration, it could totally be an anti tank selection. This would be super cool

@FREEDOYOUTUBE Depends on the perks but I would suggest playing deadlock to see how fun and awesome adding "perks" can be. The ability to counter certain comps instead of counter switching is actually a massive W IMO. Widow: it could make her ult better for tank / shield busting

I've got a lot of backlash against my criticisms of the Perk System and I'll hear them out and reply thoughtfully tomorrow. However, y'all really need an English lesson on what "Groundbreaking" means as a word, also "Gameplay loop". Widow charging her shot faster in ult isn't "changing the entire gameplay loop" it's just a buff. There are SOME instances of good perks, but most are Stat/CD buffs and VERY BAD FOR THE GAME.

@Skeng1OW @stax_ow I can't lie but this is an L take (I respect the opinion tho) I would have agreed until I started playing deadlock. The ability to be creative on the fly to counter comps instead of just counter picking is actually incredibly fun and rewarding. + 3rd person = GOATED

@imAVRL I thought you were spot on, we are somehow living in the secret timeline where everyone legit seems to be hyped about it lol? Can't lie, this is going HARD

Gonna make an early prediction that the response to this will sadly be awful no matter what happens today. Hate to be a pessimist. But the announcement could genuinely be good and I can still see everyone just shitting on it anyway. I legitimately don't know what's going to be announced. Really hoping it'll be good. But even if the announcement is "We are reverting everything 100% back to OW1 and bringing loot boxes back" the naysayers will still say it's not enough while infinitely shifting the goal posts. At this point I think it's for the best if the people who truly hate the game just fucked off completely and stopped talking about it. Instead of endlessly claiming the game is dead while ironically keeping it alive forever because they won't stop talking about it. Even if this announcement is good they'll still say the devs don't care and don't put any effort in. It doesn't matter how much the devs have made changes to alleviate many of the past complaints - the goal posts always get moved. Can't wait to see the shit show bad faith commentary from the peanut gallery after this announcement goes live. Hoping for the best. Expecting the worst. While just about down right knowing that the public response is gonna be ass no matter what happens. Hate to be a downer. Genuinely would like to see an amazing announcement and a positive future for the game where people who actually like the game can play it in peace without the constant public harassment. If the announcement actually is good. Continue to play the game with a giant smile on your face knowing that the future looks bright, while everyone on the outside is absolutely seething at the fact that you have personal autonomy and actually enjoying something that they hate.

@ubershouts 1st and 3rd person could go hard. Deadlock is goated tho ONCE they double hero count, add more items, add pick/ban and finally release! These 2 games should be on top though, I will be curious to see how Rivals ends up doing once these are all out

Further, it seems like this is the PVE system they were working on, repurposed for what should be the deepest competitive experience the game has ever seen

@YiskaOut I said the exact thing. I'd Pay $100 for a pack of 5 mythics Paying $20 to throw my ranked games and get flamed while showing off my Cyber Hog is not ideal lol It's a lot than Valorant which sucks. Hopefully they can improve the quality of legendary skins

Perhaps an unpopular opinion: I don't mind the skin prices but not for that quality. None of the new ones do it for me.

@NagaEz I've said this b4 but while I would never tell people not to buy skins, I do think that OW charges the most for the least which has been disappointing. Being a lot worse than Val isn't ideal I'd pay $20 for a mythic any day but a legendary skin for a non meta hero is tough lol

We don’t get to choose what skins might be worth to others. I spent less on Overwatch than most games I played, despite playing it by far the most. Who’s going to fund the game, and development of the game we all love?

@samsonxp_ You could he right its still early days and as the game progresses maybe mythic skins become even better than Genji's and Legendary skins become close to that level. If that's the case then I agree with you! It's just a bit whacky right now IMO

@samsonxp_ Overwatch's legendary skins are significantly overpriced which is crazy because I already thought Valorants were super over priced lol That doesn't even include OW has 35 characters (2/3 of which you can't even access during a match) and they plan on adding more

So I am never one to defend the loot box model but Overwatch has to do something with these skin prices. I get that it is F2P and I think this model is WAY better. But you can't have prices comparable to Fortnite (You use the same character every match) or Valorant (Same 5ish
