Safeguarding works because we exclude all men on the basis of sex. Men with little kids can be accomodated by the gents and women are not required to let them in. Safeguarding works this way.

The way you people think the social contract works is if a man claims he is a victim hard enough he gets an ADMIT ONE ticket to the ladies bathroom. It doesn't work that way anywhere. Men with lady feelings - men that appear too feminine, gay men, men with children come on in. Next thing it will be, man in a hurry, man with girlfriend, man with sister or mother or wife. It is not funny when there are no single sex toilet spaces for women left because people think that it is not important enough to maintain. I am holding this space because there are many girls growing up that are tired of sharing their elementary school bathrooms with boys and I want to keep spaces in the wider world that are free of men and boys when we need them.

This father was unprepared or too lazy to ask other men to move over and wait so he could bring in his girls to the gents alone. Why? Because it was easier for him to play the victim and push into the female space. Dads are men and men are not welcome in the ladies room. What he is doing is setting up a future where no girl or woman is assured a female only space which they need in the future because there will always be people like the supporters in these comments that will roll out the red carpet into the ladies if a guy is holding a little girls hand. That is not a future I wish for any girl or woman. Hold the line and encourage men to solve the problem of parenting by making mens washrooms family friendly. He abused his kids in that moment by setting up a video camera and taking his sweet time messing around at the sink while he was getting yelled at. And he abused his children further by posting the video without the mother's consent for all the PDF's to utilize in their AI deep fake generators. Not a good Dad. Please stop platforming this behaviours as admirable. We already have many men with lady feeling trying to get into our bathrooms and changerooms. We do not need to have to fight of the "girl dads". Dads are supposed to use the bathroom for "their sex" and if the kids are too little, they come with. Pretty simple. It has never been okay to do what Tyler did. Watching that video, I have concerns. What's going on for this man? What's his goal? Why did he move so slowly? Why video? 1) If his daughter has used the washroom, her hands are dirty. She's upset, crying, and she's putting her dirty hands in her eyes and in her mouth while he dries his own hands and doesn't seem to notice. That's not sanitary. That's how children get pink eye. 2) He posted her online for all to see -- forever-- and didn't blur her face out -- forever. That's a massive safeguarding fail. Pedophiles love using any accessible images, especially videos-- of children. He just gave his daughters to pedophiles. I'll weigh in on the issue. The women's room is for women and girls. He is a man. He should have stood outside of the door and waited. Women's boundaries matter, and what we teach little girls about women's boundaries also matters. He disregarded women's boundaries and is teaching his daughters that that is acceptable. The room is for women, not women and dads.

This guy showed up to pay his ticket entirely in pennies and the staff was not having it. They kept telling him he couldn’t do that while he argued back that it’s legal tender. @RetroCoast I’m Canadian, so gun culture is figuratively AND literally foreign to me. The US has more guns than people. In Canada, it’s one firearm for every three people… and about 90% of the guns in Canada are rifles/shotguns. Americans are not safer because of this fact.
