@CescThings @PSGINT_ Doue is way better then saka use your eyes !
English

@yoshiboy998988 @zico_fundz @milz088 @AfcTarkan @PSGINT_ So let’s also put Hincapie in who’s part of same international defence?
English

@zico_fundz @milz088 @AfcTarkan @PSGINT_ Pacho can do what Saliba and Gabriel do and better. He's literally in a defensive system at Ecuador, where they kept 12 clean sheets in 18 games, conceded 6 goals, and beat teams such as Argentina, Colombia, and drew against Brazil, Morocco, and the Dutch away from home.
English

@RickD64 @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer Saliba touched Bayindir’s hand long ago before the ball was put in. After that he just stood his ground, which is not considered a foul.
Yesterday, Raya’s hand and shirt both were getting grabbed.
They are not the same things.
English

@CescThings @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer Arsenal v Man U at the start of the season...can you tell me that the way Arsenal behave at corners is within the rules. AFC fans moaned that Rice should be player of season but he just cheats all the time! Look at yesterday! He can't do that in WC as refs will give pens!
English

Felt soft at the time. Looking back he grabbed his arm. So it’s just a foul and that’s that. No idea why shay given kept calling it “controversial“ on match of the day, other than being a bad tv analyst theguardian.com/football/2026/…
English

@RickD64 @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer Can you show the instance if any player holding on to the keeper throughout and it not been given a foul?
English

@CescThings @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer WHU didn't do what rice etc did. Having hands on a keeper happens all the time but for some reason they decided to penalise it this time. You have to feel sorry for WHU tbh. PGMOL need to start reffing corners properly. It's made the PL a farce..Doesn't happen in CL etc
English

@AKfromthelane Literally haven’t seen a single example of Arsenal scoring a goal while holding the keeper.
Instead, the only example of a player holding the GK was given as a foul against Arsenal vs Leicester
English

@AKfromthelane That’s probably because your players have been shit last 2 years mate.

@RickD64 @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer Grabbing of players happen at all corners now. If you’d check Arsenal corners yesterday, you’d see West Ham doing the same thing.
Holding the keeper is still considered a foul, which Pablo did.
English

@barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer In the CL AFC benefited when Greizman not awarded a pen as ref belive a foul had just happened on Gabriel (?). So, surely the right call is goal ruled out but a pen for WHU as several AFC players (Trossard/Rice etc) were committing fouls on WHU players before the Raya foul.
English

@Trioinfootb @SelecaoTalk Failure to compete/win league is a failure too.
What do you mean you are best team in Europe but were not even the best one in your own country?
English

@SelecaoTalk UCL is the most prestigious in Club Football.
Every elite clubs want UCL over irrelevant leagues(except EPL).
Barca dominated Laliga yet people called them failure. Because they choked in UCL.
Same happened to PSG. A failure untill last season.
English

@FrugalGamerNet @iamsly69 @Wanalyst007 Everyone pushes everyone on the corners.
Nobody holds the keepers arm or shirt. Its not that deep.
English

@iamsly69 @Wanalyst007 lol thats after todibo is pushed out of the way in the first place by an arsenal defender with 2 arms around him and no intention to play the ball
todibo is where the keeper ultimate ends up before the ball comes in and is fouled first
its a pen or a goal
English

There seems to & will be a lot of discourse only because of the fact that VAR took ages to disallow it
Raya's shirt is being pulled by Todibo from the back while Pablo has his whole arm across Raya's neck with the sole intention of impeding the GK (which he does)
Raya is a top 2 cross claimer in the league. No reason he should be able to catch this ball unless he is being fouled. Which he clearly is in this instance
No brainer

English

@imcqualt @Craig_Foster Both Joe Hart and Schmeichel: One who is a ex-City player and other who has a known bias against Arsenal.
Yeah, they’ll definitely be neutral in this case.
English

@Craig_Foster …except of course that other teams including arsenal have got away with doing exactly that all season. In real time it is not holding, and both Jo Hart and Peter Schmeichel, who know a bit about goalkeepers, both think it was a wrong decision.
English

Pretty simple, really.
The EPL has allowed grappling, blocking, physical contests between attackers and defenders at set pieces all season.
Adjudicating of these moments is inconsistent.
But one thing you can’t do, is put your arm across the keeper so that he can’t jump.
Being close to the keeper, blocking them, surrounding them and making it difficult to to get to the ball is ever-present.
But putting your arm across them, holding them down and impeding their jump in any way, is clearly illegal.
It was never a goal.
Right decision.

🗣️ "Everybody involved in football lost a little bit of perception what is or is not a foul - that's why we are upset." Nuno Espirito Santo speaks to @CarrieBrownTV following @WestHam's dramatic defeat to Arsenal. #beINPL #WHUARS #WHUFC
English

@rhiannonwhitti2 @DeanJamesAFC Saliba is better than all of them at the moment. VVD is 2nd right now and overall definitely has been the best. But age has caught up.
It’s not that deep.
English

@CescThings @DeanJamesAFC Ah of course vvd is older, comparing saliba too the likes of an older defender in Diaz, and as for romero and martinez really? Deluded as
English

@DeanJamesAFC Really??? Saliba is better than VVD?? Why exactly? Because they are on the verge of winning their first PL title or Because they are on the verge of winning a CL, yet VVD has won them both. Arsenal fans think they have it all, yet lack credibility and realism
English

@WestHam_Central Correct thanks for explaining that contesting with the GK is fine but holding their hand throughout isn’t.

Teams in the PL financially doped for 10-20 years & our manager was called a specialist failure because of it. Teams broke Arsenal player’s legs up and down for 20 years. We were told we were weak, naive and needed to be stronger. Fuck everyone. UP THE ARSENAL 🔴⚪️

Listen to me lads, every single melt out there will be bringing up a plethora of goalkeeping clips from corners that won’t be remotely similar to today’s incident. Anybody who has common sense knows it’s a blatant foul.
You will see a lot of disingenuous takes. And my advice would be to use those takes as fuel. It’s a source of dopamine.
And the reason why the noise is amplified when it involves us is because we are The Arsenal. Not even trolling, this is factual. We are massive and that stature comes with hate. Embrace it hehe
English

@stephen_h82 @SavEliiz2014 @LukeEdwardsTele I’m telling you pictures often lie.
If we went with only pictures there would be shitload of red cards and penalties in the league.
There is a whole lot of difference between momentary contact vs holding on to someone throughout.
English

@CescThings @SavEliiz2014 @LukeEdwardsTele Are you trying to tell me that the pictures are not fouls. You’re really playing into the narrative of why everyone hates Arsenal fans
English

It was a foul on Raya and it stopped him getting the ball. Has his arms held down throughout. It is a clear and obvious error by the officials. Really tough on West Ham (and Man City) but I don’t think it’s controversial #arsenal

Perfect video, not a single clip shows us doing anything similar to the raya foul today. Rivals have been moronic about us all season, won’t change even with the most obvious call. Seethe pussyholes
foland (fan)@propsMCFC
but Arsenal got handed all those goals after WRESTLINg the keeper btw. this league is a joke.
English

@NeilLfc_5 @3cbPerformance @NealGardner_ Show one instance where Arsenal player held the goalkeeper throughout and get away with it?
English

@3cbPerformance @NealGardner_ You're a fucking arrogant cunt you waffling shite thinking your right and fail to acknowledge that Arsenal have been doing this EXACT "Foul" for 18 months now and get away with it so no it's not fucking right it it's one rule for Arsenal on set peices and other for everyone else.
