@CalMacFerries a perfect summers day and you cancel Tiree -Coll because of “adverse weather”, leaving our new guests having to make alternative plans.
It’s a disgrace & worrying look towards our summer sailings. What is going on? Stop hiding behind weather excuses not reality

@CollHotel @bbcalba @BBCScotlandNews @VisitScotland Afternoon, We have been advised that the winds are actually much higher than forecast. Forecast was 12-14 knots at Coll today but with the wind direction it was actually blowing in excess of 30 knots. I do apologise about this. Thank you, Ross

@CalMacFerries That’s nonsense. We know from an eye witness that there were just 4 vehicles and 10 people on that ferry to Tiree today! Why is Coll being left behind? Why is our community less important? @scotgov @transcotland sort it out! It’s not good enough! @BBCScotlandNews @bbcalba

@CollHotel Our extra Tiree services have been arranged to carry essential lifeline freight, and unfortunately, this significantly limits the available space for passengers and cars when carrying certain goods in transit. We sincerely apologise again. Thanks, Holly (2/2)

@CalMacFerries doing their utmost to reaffirm how the people of Coll feel treated. Surely you can see how many bookings you cancelled when you removed this service on 07/04. Why you can’t do one stop to collect people who otherwise cannot attend this special day? It’s scandalous.

@CalMacFerries The weather forecast is chopping and changing by the minute, please stop putting out disruption warnings so far ahead that put guests and workers off from coming to Coll and putting personal plans up in the air.
