@SpawnYaardReply This is crazy. I appreciate the response from the devs, but good lord, grow a pair guys, you don't have to patch the game in response to every angry nerd. I am really liking it btw, and think it could use polish elsewhere. This is not a big deal.

Crimson Desert has apologized for usage of AI art and is working to replace it. I found it yesterday. It's in the building right before Hornsplitter mission. "During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches."

Why is Crimson Desert so polarizing? I’m seeing most complaints on the story and controls. Did people really think they were getting a cinematic Witcher 3 style narrative? The controls are essentially 1:1 to RDR2 with the whole mash X to sprint and crouch with L3 and no one cared

@pushsquare I really don't mind them, I think the combat is fantastic. Re-map would be nice for a few swaps.

@rockstationonx I am actually liking the controls quite a bit after getting used to them. It's turning out to be one of the most fun combat systems I've played in awhile.

I’ve noticed people commenting that they are having a lot of issues with the controls and the general movement in Crimson Desert. General movement is pretty good as far as I’m concerned, but they obviously just kept adding and stacking things… complicating the systems as they built them. How are you getting on with it?

Crimson Desert developers openly admitted that keyboard and mouse controls feel clunky and unsatisfying. They confirmed a patch is already being prepared to improve them and apologized for the current experience.

Crimson Desert has been the most hyped game for months but critics are slamming it, fuck them, I want to know how the players like it.

@Adiofreak @Rhaxten_ You do not have to keep tapping to run. It's more like a toggle. press once for jog, twice for a fast sprint that consumes stamina.

My sheer confusion at the 2:24 mark of this clip when someone in chat told me that people quit the game over this 'puzzle'. I have since been sent clips of people being lost, and uhhh... not to be a dick, but what???

The most recent Crimson Desert patch has disabled my ability to turn on HDR. I have a very expensive tv that fully supports HDR. @WillJPowers

So this "Palm Beach Pete" account is interesting. It's the guy filmed in Florida who looks like Epstein. His whole thing is, "I'm not Epstein." His account is weird, on twitter since 2022, verified just this month, not following anyone with 7000 followers and like 4 posts saying he's not Epstein. Probably just trying to ride the wave, Anyway, kind of weird.
