Yesterday defenders of democracy, today's destroyers, What a shame. What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed. Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. Power indeed reveals character. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@SoprialaMembere Does welcoming people into the fold equate to him accepting to resign his post? U guys are still missing the plot - are you intentionally obtuse? Yes he welcomed them but did he accept to relinquish his post of National Chairman?

@SoprialaMembere You deliberately cropped this post because you know what he said in the 2nd paragraph. It’s clear that the purported resignation later signed 6 weeks before is fake, as he described himself as the deputy national chairman in this post.

This afternoon, I spent time with stakeholders and victims of the recent terror incident in Jos, Plateau State. No amount of money can bring back the dead, but the Federal Government will do our best to comfort them, walk with them and provide necessary assistance. Rhoda Favour, I feel your pain but no matter what we say, we cannot bring Ayuba back. We will find the perpetrators of this dastardly acts. People saying the coalition should have created a new party like the then APC are not being sincere. APC made moves to stop any new party from getting registered by INEC and that made coalition to adopt ADC. The unpopular Tinubu doesn't want anyone to contest against him in 2027.

Call for a protest Nigeria youths will give you 1 million likes on Twitter and only 2 people will show up. Bunch of cowards. That’s why politicians wasted your 20’s with bad leadership. When will you be brave enough to fight for life and for your future? Maybe after you waste your vibrant youthful years in a country that has been designed to impoverish you. Take back your country.
