Magpie siblings deciding who will be more dominant or just brothers arm (leg) wrestling? The one on the left is usually more dominant. Their sister watched on from the sidelines. They stayed in this position for over two minutes. @fred_od_photo #birds #birdwatching #magpie

This has to be one of my favourite images from Thailand. This Asian Green Bee-eater sat on this small branch in the early morning sun right next to my car. Every now & then it would catch a bee & return to the same branch. Magic #birds #birdphotography #birding #birdsseenin2026

I popped out to the local steppe to see if I could find a Northern Wheatear & found another 3 Western Black-eared. I think this is my best photo so far. That’s 9 so far this year. Just as I was leaving I did find a Northern (my first this year). #birds #birdphotography #birding

This is a female Magpie-lark (Grallina cyanoleuca) It is neither a Magpie nor a Lark. It is more closely related to Monarchs, Fantails and Drongos and Flycatchers. @DivineDropbear

@JeffMNeale They have. I originally had only magpies a couple of years ago but today there are twice as many Currawongs.
