The estimated Muslim population in Texas has grown by about 2-3% from 2020 to 2025 due to immigration, births, and conversions. Texas has one of the largest Muslim populations in the U.S.
Muslims are also trying to build their own city called Epic City in Plano.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) recently said in an interview that there are Muslim-only communities in Plano where realtors won’t show properties to non-Muslims.
