My mom had her laryngectomy today. The doctor was confident he got all the cancer out! She will still have 7 weeks of radiation therapy. She has a long road ahead to get her new voice and learn how to cope just breathing from her neck.

@ButtercupPB On TokTok I found independent musicians, animal rescues, recipes, a little shopping, discussions on current events and books, and some damn funny people. I had no problem with my older teens using it as well. This ban is all about money and control.

My kids’ teachers always warned us to have them stay off Tik Tok entirely (and wait until 16+ for other social media). Since I never used Tik Tok myself, I always assumed it must be really bad if the teachers were saying don’t let your kids on there at all.🤔🤷‍♀️
