
MMG has approved a $900 million expansion of Botswana’s Khoemacau Copper Mine, including new deposits and a 4.5 Mt/year processing plant, aiming for first production in H1 2028. The expansion is expected to raise output to 130,000 t of copper concentrate and 4 Moz of silver, with a potential future phase targeting 200,000 t of copper.
