Today’s Palestinians were once Jewish, then some became Christians, then later they became Muslims.

@ilias_hdz @PhilipProudfoot Before 1948 they called themselves Palestinians. Most Israelis are from the region. There were fully arabized jews living there and in 1492 many Sephardic Jews settled there and mixed with them. By mid 19thC Jews were the largest group of people in Jerusalem.

The ten tribes were known as Israel and Judahites were in Judea. This is basic history that all should know.
