In RSA they have two exam boards (NSC).
1) DBE for public schools
2) IEB for private schools.
Cambridge to Zimbos is what IEB is to South Africans, bcz that is the only alternative.

I disagree with Zanupf gvt forcing Zimsec on Zimbos - but I don't understand our obsession with Cambridge. Do Zimbos know that in UK the most recognised Exam Board isn't even Cambridge? It's actually AQA.
Cambridge Exams are poorly attended due to lack of structure & outdated.

I wonder if they will implement what they learnt.
Anyway,
When they asked where I was coming from and I told them Japan, they immediately started asking about life there and how cheap everything is.
I just sighed.
A lot of people assume Japan is cheap, but it really isn’t.
To get through the day comfortably, you need at least $20–30 USD. And one wrong restaurant choice can easily land you with a bill of $100–300.
The cars seem cheap because the ones exported from Japan to Africa are often older models, the Japanese are trying to offload.
Trash disposal is headache. Before I left, I had to pay around $100 just for someone to take away my bed.
That’s why they give away those cars at a low price but ….
Japan is definitely not a cheap country.

Bellarmine Mugabe Fined R600K, Faces Deportation After Conviction
Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, the youngest son of the late Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, has been sentenced in a Johannesburg court to a fine of R400,000 (or 24 months in prison) for pointing a firearm, plus an additional R200,000 (or 18 months) for contravening South Africa's Immigration Act by being in the country illegally.
He will be immediately deported to Zimbabwe following sentencing.
