One thing I would’ve liked to have seen trialled is not giving GK’s any plays(no solo or bouncing). Would speed up the play and still allow them be involved. I’d imagine it would lead to more contests - if you are pushed up man to man the keeper will have to pick out a pass!

@Mobyhaque1 Would Trent not be a better fit for that role and push Alexis further up?!

A long shot of course but a midfield pivot of Alexis & Ugarte would be absolutely dynamite. Would be like how Arne used Kokcu & Wieffer so devastatingly well utilizing their strengths. Kokcu moulded to be a very effective playmaker from deep.
