It seems some on this platform unhinged by the Nations Cup draw resulting in autumn matches between Ireland & Israel. Now campaigning for Ireland to boycott the matches & will inevitably target players to do so. They will inevitably start pressurising players before the World Cup playoffs . We finally again have a talented team going places. Our participation in Eurovision already sabotaged. Stop trying to undermine, demoralise & sabotage Irish football I say.

My unionist identity -and I make no secret of my unionism-is not threatened by Irish language; GAA sports pitch; SF as the largest party etc. Unionism/loyalism needs to stop being spooked by everything and, instead, focus on a positive, upbeat agenda. It needs new voices, too.
