The annoying thing about the Dabo/Golding spat is that fan bases immediately retreat to corners and make it a “morality vs everyone’s doing it” issue. So stupid. This is so much bigger than “gotta get behind your guy” but people can’t see beyond their own momentary interests

The judge overseeing the Trinidad Chambliss vs. NCAA case is Robert Whitwell. He's a former partner of Farese, Farese & Farese and has degrees from Delta State and Ole Miss Law. He's also been a US Attorney. Whitwell was the QB and captain at Northwest Community College in 1965.

One takeaway from the Sugar Bowl is that it’s become clear that not many people Nationally had seen #OleMissFootball play. There was a National debate whether or not they deserved to even be in the #CFP ! I’ve gotten calls from friends all over the country with “wow that kid is GOOD “ and “damn I didn’t know they were like that “ Etc etc etc The players and the team were never even talked about or mentioned. That probably cost some players individual awards. Their season got hijacked - intentionally or not - that’s what happened. NOBODY outside of the locker room and fanbase believed in them. Disrespect is a powerful motivational tool. You’re seeing that play out now in real time. Best of luck to those guys in Arizona. I believe #WhyNotUs #CFP
