@tellenby Brassicas can accumulate nitrates under overcast conditions. There may be something out there they are over-indulging on. Give them ad lib hay and free choice humate granules. That often helps.

@Graham__Hancock I agree with you Graham. Local food systems need to be encouraged rather than relying on imports. Too often local food production is demonised & shut down in the name of "climate" goals. Perhaps Brasil could be empowered to sell old growth carbon credits instead.

The Amazon is a precious source of biodiversity and hidden knowledge. Exchanging old growth rainforest for beef is a very bad deal for humanity... theguardian.com/environment/20…

This Prairie Schooner is growing out 700 broilers every 21 days with daily moves. Over the course of 1 year it will cover 3.5 hectares. (8.6 acres) You could recover this same ground next year. Over 300k worth of chicken 🍗

@mbomb0507 @T90Program A last Spring sown Holdfast GT @ 8 kg/ Ha crossed sowed. All the “ experts “? Will say that sowing rate is too high but when you have paddock sizes a third of the size than the majority and higher stocking rates/ pressure a few more kilos is unreal for Winter DSE/ HA and $$

@GreenpatchAg @kingswood10 Ow shucks. Coming from the King of EP Regenerative Agriculture that's a lovely thing to say. P.s I need some more old hay mulch. Last year's worked a treat.

Social media in a nutshell. Within minutes I get praise for our rehabilitation work along our creek ( thank you @kingswood10 ) And criticism for the environmental damage we've done. Based on 1 photo.

I'm keen to improve our pastures to increase perennial and a better mix of self seeding annuals to give more year round feed, diversity and is some paddocks hay. We have annual legumes and grasses sorted. 1/n
